    Middletown, Conn. - January 15, 2018 - For the third time in the last four games, sophomore guard Emily Jacques (Auburn, Maine) established a new career-high in points, as she registered 18 in a 71-63 setback for the Springfield College women's basketball team at Wesleyan in Silloway Arena on Monday night. 
  • Women's Swimming and Diving Swims Past Union, 195-101

    Schenectady, N.Y. - January 14, 2018 - The Springfield College women's swimming and diving team won 12 of the possible 16 events en route to a 195-101 victory over Union College on Saturday. Of the 12 event winners, Olivia Paione (Auburn, Maine) and Christine Shea (Peabody, Mass.) had two individual victories apiece.

  • Women's Gymnastics Produces Highest-Ever Season-Opening Score at West Chester Quad

    West Chester, Pa. - January 13, 2018 - Led by impressive performances from junior Jessica Clemens (South Setauket, N.Y.) and freshman Ali Rushlow (Worcester, Mass.), the Springfield College women's gymnastics team produced its highest-ever season-opening score, as the Pride finished third among four teams with a mark of 185.800 at a quad meet hosted by West Chester University.

    West Point, N.Y. - January 12, 2017 - The Springfield College men's gymnastics team opened up the 2018 campaign competing at the West Point Open and finished fifth as a team.   The Pride totaled 369.250 points and had three individuals finish in the top six of the all-around competition.

  • Allen '37 To Be Inducted Into Western Massachusetts Baseball Hall of Fame

    Springfield, Mass. - January 8, 2017 - Legendary Springfield College baseball coach, Archie Allen '37, will be inducted into the Western Massachusetts Baseball Hall of Fame on February 1, 2017. Allen is one of seven individuals that will be inducted as part of the 2018 class, as he will be joined by local legends such as Chris Capuano, who won 77 games as a pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB), Dan Duquette, general manager of the Baltimore Orioles, and the late MLB Commissioner, Bart Giamatti.
