The loss proved to halt the Pride's four-game winning streak, as the maroon and white is now 5-4 overall, while the Lancers improve to 7-3 on the year.

    Springfield, Mass - December 5 - The Springfield College women's basketball team prevailed over Mount Holyoke, 86-30, in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action on Wednesday night in Blake Arena, as the Pride had three student-athletes reach double digits in the scoring column. This marks the third-consecutive victory for the Pride, as the maroon and white is now 4-3 overall with a 2-0 mark in conference play, while the Lyons fall to 0-9 on the year with an 0-3 record against league opponents. This marks the fourth-consecutive season that Springfield College has won its home opener.

  • Women's Basketball Rebounds With Victory Over Williams, 63-50

    Williamstown, Mass. - November 20, 2018 - For the first time since 2008, the Springfield College women's basketball team defeated Williams College, as the Pride defeated the Ephs, 63-50, on Tuesday evening in Lasell Gymnasium. In it's last game prior to Thanksgiving break, the Pride was led by freshman forward Amanda Carr (West Haven, Conn.), who notched a career-best 13 points, while Chelsea McAllister (Baltimore, Vt.) and Gracie Restituyo (Barrington, R.I.) also contributed points apiece in the victory.

    Middlebury, Vt. - November 17, 2018 - The Springfield College women's basketball team outscored Middlebury College 40-30 in the second half, but the Pride still was unable to erase a 16-point deficit at the halftime break as it fell to the host Panthers, 63-57, in the second day of the Middlebury Tip-Off Classic on Saturday evening.

With the loss, the Pride drops to 1-1 while the Golden Bears are now 2-0 to start the 2018-19 campaign.
