  • Goslin Selected For Prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

    Springfield, Mass. - May 26, 2020 - Springfield College women's basketball student-athlete Alex Goslin (South Windsor, Conn.) has been awarded a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Postgraduate Scholarship following a remarkable career on Alden Street. The NCAA selected 21 male athletes and 21 female athletes from all winter sports across all three divisions to receive a $10,000 award for postgrad study.

    After their season's were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Springfield College's Kate Sarnacki and Justin Brosnan moved home for the remainder of the semester. In the midst of their virtual learning and training away from Alden Street, the duo shared what life is like from them now. Springfield College is an independent, nonprofit, coeducational institution founded in 1885. Approximately 4,100 students, including 2,500 full-time undergraduate students, study at its main campus in Springfield, Mass., and at its regional campuses across the country.
