Men's Soccer Rallies to Defeat Wheaton in Overtime, 2-1

Springfield, Mass. - October 27, 2018 - Freshman forward Andrew Ma (Upper Saddle River, N.J.) found the back of the net with 2:06 remaining in the first overtime period to lift the Springfield College men's soccer team to a 2-1 come-from-behind victory at Brock-Affleck Field on Saturday afternoon. As the Pride countered, Keon Haji (Shrewsbury, Mass.) slipped Ma a pass on the left flank, and the freshman made no mistake as he buried his chance to grant Springfield College the victory in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play.

Men's Soccer Falls to Endicott in Double Overtime, 2-1

Springfield, Mass. - October 23, 2018 - In a rematch of last season's NCAA Division III Championship Tournament Opening Round contest, the Springfield College men's soccer team fell to Endicott, 2-1, in double overtime on Tuesday night at Brock-Affleck Field. Endicott's Dario Neukom (Palma de Mallorca, Spain) headed home a cross from Joshua Sousa (Dartmouth, Mass.) with 4:35 remaining in the second overtime period to lift the Gulls to victory.

Springfield, Mass. - October 20, 2018 - In a rematch of the 2017 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship contest, the Springfield College men's soccer team and WPI battled to a scoreless tie through 110 minutes of play at Brock-Affleck Field on Saturday afternoon.

Men's Soccer Earns United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award For Fifth-Straight Season

Kansas City, Kan. - October 5, 2018 - The Springfield College men's soccer program was recognized by the United Soccer Coaches for its dedication to academics as well as athletics, as the Pride was selected as a recipient for the 2017-18 United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award. Springfield College, which has continuously improved its cumulative grade-point over the last five years, posted a team GPA of 3.44 last spring, and has now earned the Team Academic Award for the last five seasons.

Springfield, Mass. - October 2, 2018 - Senior Brad Deckel (Lansdale, Pa.) and freshman Jack Rosenberg (Simsbury, Conn.) scored just 12 seconds apart in the second half to help lift the Springfield College men's soccer team to a 2-0 non-conference victory over Framingham State on a rainy Tuesday night at Brock-Affleck Field.

Schneider Earns NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week Honors
