Steinman to Run in 2018 Boston Marathon

Springfield, Mass. - April 15, 2018 - Springfield College head cross country coach Anna Steinman will be racing among an estimated 30,000 athletes at the 2018 Boston Marathon, hosted by the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) on Monday, April 16. Taking place on the third Monday in April every year, the Boston Marathon is the world's oldest annual marathon and ranks as one of the world's best-known road racing events.

Tringali and Wunderlich Selected to NEWMAC Cross Country All-Sportsmanship Team

Bethlehem, Pa. - September 29, 2017 - Competing in the 44th annual Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh University, the Springfield College women's cross country team placed sixth overall on Friday afternoon at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course. The Paul Short Run is the largest intercollegiate cross country meet in the nation with approximately 6,000 athletes from nearly 450 colleges and high schools slated to compete.

Women's Cross Country Races Among Nation's Best at Purple Valley Classic

Williamstown, Mass. - September 23, 2017 - The Springfield College women's cross country braved the heat and raced at the Purple Valley Classic, a 6k course hosted by Williams College at Mount Greylock High School on Saturday afternoon. The meet featured nine teams that are currently in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III National Rankings, as out of the teams that finished in the top 10, six were among the nation's best.
